Fir, moss, and resin were collected one rainy day in August 2014 by the Haeckels’ team – and given a new lease of life by forming the aromatic foundation of its St John candle. The Margate-based brand takes inspiration from St John’s cemetery and the sombre memories present there, using notes of fir, clove, and cedarwood for a nostalgic aroma to fill the home during its forty hour burn time.
